Tools are provided to help the employees develop to their potential and achieve career goals within the organization. Knowledge of Workday HCM is essential before learning any other module in Workday.

➤ Skills and Experience: Certifications, Languages, Professional Affiliations, Training Types, Work Experiences and Skills Categories are the attributes available to track       and report on in Workday.
➤ Career Interests and Mobility: Career Preferences, Travel Amounts, and Relocation Preferences are the attributes can be tracked in the Career Interests and Mobility category. 

Competencies

Competencies are the skills, behaviors and attitudes that workforces need to perform on their roles effectively. Workday supports the configuration Competencies. Competencies of an Advanced Competency framework that allows to associate competencies and their specific behaviors with a Job Family, Job Profile, Management Level, or employee. It can be organized within a Competency Category, and those categories can be associated with Competency Classes. The following would be taught with regard to the concept of competencies in Workday talent and performance management training:

Performance Management Overview

Talent Calibration is used to ensure performance and potential are assessed consistently across the organization. The goal is for a group of Business Leaders and/or HR/Talent Professionals to review all workers ratings and use the calibrated information to develop plans that will effectively manage talent across the organization. A Performance review calibration enables in calibrating the worker’s performance rating. Performance Review calibration can also be included within the Performance Review business process, so that the calibrated ratings can be directly applied to the worker’s overall performance rating.
